Quantum materials in high magnetic fields

Research

Our research focuses on the understanding and control of quantum materials such as high-Tc superconductors, quantum liquids, and semimetals in their quantum limit. Our favorite experimental tools to explore those systems are ultrasound velocity and attenuation, and electronic transport. We tune and control the ground state of those materials with the use of high magnetic fields and uniaxial strain.
